JSA Architects collaborated with the City of Dublin Education and Training Board (CDETB) and the Department of Education and Skills (DoES) to deliver the design of a temporary two-storey prefabricated Educate Together school at Clonturk Community College. The modular facility was carefully planned to provide a comprehensive educational environment, incorporating eight general classrooms, two computer rooms, a science laboratory, art room, guidance suite, SEN and pastoral care spaces, alongside administrative offices, staff facilities, and a canteen/recreational area. Delivered in partnership with The McAvoy Group, the two-storey modular buildings were designed with flexibility in mind and can be relocated to an alternative site after several years of use.

Sustainability was a key consideration in the project, with the building heated by energy-efficient heat pump system.

External VRF condensers are connected to internal ceiling-mounted cassettes, providing consistent and efficient heating throughout the classrooms. This approach aligns with best practice guidance from the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland and reflects a growing trend in low-energy building solutions across the education sector
