Baldonnell Business Park, Dublin 22

JSA Architects have acted as Lead and Project Architects for the phased development of Baldonnell Business Park for Mountpark Logistics (MLEU), delivering a series of high-specification logistics, warehousing and industrial facilities adjacent to Casement Aerodrome in Dublin 22.

 The development includes Unit A (10,837 m²) and Unit B (18,617 m²), together with Phase 2 Units C and D, providing approximately 22,365 m² (240,666 sq ft) of additional logistics accommodation. Unit C was developed for Home Store + More, while Unit D was pre-let to DB Schenker. Both buildings were completed in 2022 and achieved BREEAM Excellent certification.

 JSA Architects also acted as Project Architects for Unit E, Amazon’s first Irish Fulfilment Centre. Providing over 660,000 sq ft of logistics space, the facility includes a substantial structural mezzanine, office accommodation and distribution infrastructure, making it one of the largest logistics developments delivered in Ireland.  The unit was officially opened by An Tánaiste, Leo Varadkar in 2022.

 The latest phase of the development comprises Units F and G, totalling 169,576 sq ft, completed in 2023. These buildings became the first industrial facilities in Ireland to achieve BREEAM Outstanding certification, setting a new benchmark for sustainable logistics development.

 The development incorporates significant flood mitigation works, extensive landscaping and biodiversity measures, creating a high-quality and sustainable business environment.
